Summer (May to June)

Throughout these months, Gangtok experiences clear sky and a profusion of wildflowers and orchids that blanket the terrain. Remember to carry thick clothing for the evenings and early mornings since the temperature drops to a minimum of 8 degrees centigrade by November.
Winter (December to February)
Winter months can be quite chilly, with minimum temperatures of 4 degrees. During the day, the temperature frequently reaches 22 degrees Celsius. With the majority of the tourists gone, Gangtok is frequently enveloped in thick blankets of fog, creating a tranquil environment. Even though Gangtok doesn't get much snow, you can use it as a base to travel to surrounding mountain passes and other high-altitude regions that gets snow.
Spring (March to April)
