Samdruptse Hill

About five kilometres separate Namchi from Samdruptse Hill, the "wish fulfilling hill," which is situated at a height of 2134 metres (7000 feet). A goliath statue of Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), Sikkim's patron saint who has bestowed blessings on the region for more than 1,200 years, adorns this location. It is a 45 m tall monument that towers over the entire city and is covered in gold that shimmers in the sunlight. In addition, this location provides a panoramic picture of Mt. Kangchenjunga amid the opulently forested hills beneath the painted blue sky. The hill is thought to be a spot of dormant lava, and only prayers are thought to be able to prevent it from exploding.

Doling Gompa

Doling Gompa, which has a variety of colourful flags, is set up on a little hill; Ravangla is only 4 kilometres away from tranquil, green Barfung village. The Nyingmapa organisation of Buddhism is one of the oldest divisions and is followed by this monastery. Doling Gompa, which is located on an elevated platform, offers a view of impressive mountains and dense forest that set off the erratic blue sky and sun-scorching rays. See the attractively attired, hard-working people chopping away at the lush, green fields of cardamom as you go to this monastery.

Ngadak monastery

The allure and otherworldliness of the Ngadak Monastery are palpable. Tensung Namgyal constructed this monastery, which is close to Namchi's main town, for Her Highness Pendi Ongmu during the reign of Chogyal Gyurmed Namgyal. You can see that the monastery is supported by press rails now, and that a new Gumpa is also being constructed because the previous one was damaged by the earthquake that occurred in the seventeenth century. One of Namchi's oldest monasteries, Ngadak is a suitable location to find quiet and meditate in the middle of nature.

Serdup Choling Monastery

This captivating Buddhist place of love, Serdup Choling Monastery is extraordinary compared to other attractions to visit in Namchi. It is situated against a grand setting of Mount Khangchendzonga separated by priests’ quarters. Serdup Choling Monastery appeared in the year 1967 by joint efforts put by the late Serdup Dungzin Jigme Wangchuk Rinpoche and late Khachoed Tulku Dudjom Dorjee. Inside the premises of the fundamental altar, a great show of three statues of Guru Rimpoche, Santaraksita and Tri Detson can be seen.

Follow the winding streets lined with snow-capped vegetation, and you'll notice that the mountains seem to be getting higher and higher as you go. The lovely hill town of Ravangla is situated at a height of 7000 feet, where even the mists seem to be within touching distance. This small village in South Sikkim is the ideal destination for eager tourists who come to the area to pass their free time. A must-visit location while in Sikkim is Ravangla, which is adorned with a grandiose landscape and encircled by unfathomable distinctive perfection.
