Day 1: Guwahati to Shillong – Umiam Lake Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet your driver and proceed towards Shillong. Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful hills of Meghalaya, with a stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake.
After reaching Shillong, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, explore Police Bazaar and nearby local markets at your leisure.
Overnight stay: Shillong
Day 2: Shillong to Mawlynnong via Dawki
After breakfast, begin your journey towards Mawlynnong via Dawki. Enjoy the scenic landscapes and visit popular attractions along the route, including Ward's Lake, Laitlum Canyon and Krang Suri Falls, as per the final sightseeing plan.
Continue towards Dawki and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Umngot River. You can opt for a boat ride to experience its famously clear waters. Later, visit the India–Bangladesh border viewpoint, subject to access and local conditions.
Proceed to Mawlynnong, explore the village and enjoy its peaceful natural surroundings.
