Detailed Bhutan Itinerary
Day 1 – IXB/NJP/Siliguri to Phuentsholing | Arrival & Transfer
Arrive at Jaigaon from IXB/NJP/Siliguri and meet the tour representative. Proceed towards Phuentsholing and complete the required registration and biometric/immigration formalities. Later, explore Phuentsholing town and enjoy an evening stroll through the local market. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 2 – Phuentsholing to Thimphu | En-Route Sightseeing
After breakfast, complete the required immigration permit formalities and begin the scenic drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Visit Kharbandi Monastery, Chukha Dam View Point, Gedu View Point and Wankha Waterfall during the journey. Enjoy the changing Himalayan landscapes, forests and traditional villages before arriving in Thimphu. Check in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 3 – Thimphu City Tour
After breakfast, explore the major attractions of Thimphu. Later, enjoy some free time at the local market before returning to the hotel.

Day 4 – Thimphu to Phobjikha | Dochula Pass Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive towards the beautiful Phobjikha Valley via Dochula Pass at approximately 3,088 metres. Admire the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens and panoramic mountain views. On arrival, visit Gangtey Monastery and the Black-Necked Crane Information Centre, subject to seasonal availability. Enjoy a peaceful walk through the valley before your overnight stay in Phobjikha.
Day 5 – Phobjikha to Bumthang | Scenic Transfer
After breakfast, proceed towards Bumthang through scenic Himalayan landscapes. The approximately 150–160 km journey takes around 5–6 hours depending on road and weather conditions. On arrival, check in to the hotel, enjoy dinner and relax.

Day 6 – Bumthang Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the cultural and spiritual heritage of Bumthang. Visit Jakar Dzong, Jambay Lhakhang, Wangduecholling Palace Museum, Tharpaling Goempa and Chakar Lhakhang. Return to the hotel after sightseeing, enjoy dinner and relax overnight.

Day 7 – Bumthang to Punakha | En-Route Sightseeing
Begin the scenic drive towards Punakha via Trongsa and the beautiful Pele La Pass. Stop at the iconic Chendebji Chorten before continuing towards Punakha/Wangdue. Enjoy the mountain scenery throughout the journey and check in to the hotel on arrival.

Day 9 – Paro | Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike
After breakfast, proceed for the famous Taktshang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger’s Nest. Enjoy the approximately 6-hour round-trip hike to this spectacular monastery perched on a cliff above the Paro Valley. Pony service is available at an additional cost. After the excursion, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Paro.

Day 10 – Paro to Phuentsholing to IXB/NJP/Siliguri | Departure
After breakfast, begin your return journey towards Phuentsholing with sightseeing in Paro as per the itinerary. Visit Paro Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang, Drukgyel Dzong and the National Museum before continuing towards Phuentsholing. Later, proceed to Bagdogra/IXB or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
Distance: Approx. 145–160 km
