Overview
Experience the beauty, culture and spirituality of the Himalayas with our Bhutan 5 Days 4 Nights Tour Package, covering the charming towns of Phuentsholing, Thimphu and Paro. This well-planned Bhutan tour package combines scenic mountain drives, cultural attractions, monasteries, local markets and the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
The journey begins from IXB/NJP/Siliguri with a transfer to Phuentsholing, where you complete Bhutan immigration formalities. Continue to Thimphu, Bhutan’s picturesque capital, followed by sightseeing and a memorable visit to Paro. The highlight of the trip is the hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). The tour concludes with a scenic drive back to Phuentsholing and onward departure to IXB/NJP/Siliguri.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – IXB/NJP/Siliguri to Phuentsholing – Arrival & Immigration
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport/IXB, NJP Railway Station or Siliguri and proceed towards Phuentsholing. The journey is approximately 165 km and takes around 4 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions.
Upon arrival at Jaigaon/Phuentsholing, meet the tour representative and complete the required Bhutan immigration formalities. Explore Phuentsholing town and enjoy an evening stroll through the local market. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
Day 2 – Phuentsholing to Thimphu – Transfer & En-Route Sightseeing
After breakfast, complete the required permit formalities with assistance from the representative and begin the scenic drive towards Thimphu.
En route, visit Kharbandi Monastery, followed by scenic stops at Chukha Dam View Point, Gedu View Point and Wankha Waterfall. Enjoy beautiful Himalayan landscapes, forests, valleys and traditional villages during the journey.
On arrival in Thimphu, check in to the hotel. Spend the evening exploring the local market at leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3 – Thimphu to Paro – Sightseeing & Tiger’s Nest Hike
After breakfast, proceed towards Paro for the much-awaited Tiger’s Nest hike.
The famous Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest, is one of Bhutan’s most iconic attractions. The hike involves approximately 4.5 miles of walking with an elevation gain of around 900 metres from the Paro Valley. The guide will provide hiking instructions and safety tips in advance.
After the hike, continue with sightseeing as per the itinerary. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 4 – Paro to Phuentsholing – Sightseeing & Transfer
After breakfast, explore some of Paro’s important cultural and historical attractions before beginning the drive towards Phuentsholing.
Visit Paro Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang, Drukgyel Dzong and the National Museum. Later, continue the scenic journey to Phuentsholing.
Upon arrival, enjoy an evening stroll through the local market and experience the lively atmosphere of this Bhutan-India border town. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
Day 5 – Phuentsholing to IXB/NJP/Siliguri – Departure
After breakfast, complete the required Bhutan exit formalities and begin your return journey towards Bagdogra Airport/IXB, NJP Railway Station or Siliguri.
Your memorable Bhutan holiday comes to an end with beautiful memories of the Land of the Thunder Dragon.

- This is a land-only package.
- Adults must carry a valid Passport OR Original Voter ID Card for Bhutan entry.
- Children below 18 years should carry their Birth Certificate as specified.
- Aadhaar Card and PAN Card are not accepted for immigration.
- Original documents should be shared on time for Bhutan permit processing.
- Standard hotel check-in is 2:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM.
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to hotel availability.
- Sightseeing and travel schedules may change due to weather, road conditions, permits or local restrictions.
- Vehicle usage is limited to the confirmed itinerary and agreed timings.
- Additional vehicle usage, late-night travel and extra sightseeing may incur additional charges.
- Tiger’s Nest hiking and other adventure activities are undertaken at the guest’s own risk.
Unused meals, sightseeing, transfers or hotel services are non-refundable after the trip begins.

- 30 days or more before travel: 15% cancellation charges
- 15–29 days before travel: 40% cancellation charges
- 7–14 days before travel: 70% cancellation charges
- Less than 7 days before travel or no-show: 100% cancellation charges
- Bhutan permit/SDF charges, once processed, may be partially or fully non-refundable as per applicable Bhutan Tourism policy.
- Hotel cancellation policies may vary during peak season, festivals, long weekends and blackout dates.
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–15 working days after cancellation confirmation.
Note: Package services are subject to the confirmed itinerary, hotel availability, Bhutan permit requirements, weather and road conditions. Any additional cost arising from route diversion, delays or unforeseen circumstances will be payable by the guest.
