Pickup from Hasimara and transfer to Thimphu via Phuentsholing. Enjoy en-route sightseeing at Kharbandi Monastery, Chukha Dam View Point, Gedu View Point and Wankha Waterfall. Overnight in Thimphu.
Explore Thimphu’s major attractions including National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point, Tashichho Dzong, National Library, National Textile Museum and local market. Overnight in Thimphu.
Drive via scenic Dochula Pass and visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. Explore Punakha Dzong, Punakha Suspension Bridge and Chimi Lhakhang. Overnight in Punakha.
Optional river rafting at your own cost, followed by a scenic transfer to Paro. Visit Paro Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang, Drukgyel Dzong and National Museum. Overnight in Paro.

Detailed Bhutan Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Hasimara – Phuentsholing – Thimphu
Begin your Bhutan journey with a pickup from Hasimara and transfer to Phuentsholing. The short drive takes around 17 km and offers scenic views of the green border surroundings.
After completing the required Bhutan immigration permit formalities, proceed towards Thimphu. En route, enjoy sightseeing at Kharbandi Monastery, Chukha Dam View Point, Gedu View Point and Wankha Waterfall. Continue through the scenic mountain roads, forests and traditional villages before reaching Thimphu.
Check in to your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local market at leisure.
Overnight: Thimphu
Day 2: Thimphu City Tour
After breakfast, explore the major attractions of Bhutan’s capital city, Thimphu. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, Takin Preserve Centre, National Library and National Textile Museum.
Continue to Buddha Point, the Painting School, Tashichho Dzong and the interactive cultural museum, Simply Bhutan. Later, enjoy a relaxed walk through the local market before returning to your hotel.
Overnight: Thimphu
Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha via Dochula Pass
After breakfast, drive from Thimphu to Punakha through the beautiful Dochula Pass at 3,088 metres. On the way, visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens and enjoy the peaceful Himalayan surroundings.
Continue through scenic valleys and forests towards Punakha. Visit the impressive Punakha Dzong, situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, followed by the famous Punakha Suspension Bridge.
Later, visit Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility, surrounded by rice fields and traditional villages.
Overnight: Punakha
Day 4: Punakha – Paro Sightseeing
If interested, you may enjoy river rafting on the Female River of Punakha at your own cost before departing for Paro.
Drive towards the beautiful Paro Valley and explore some of its important attractions, including Paro Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang, Drukgyel Dzong and the National Museum.

Day 5: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike
After breakfast, get ready for one of the most memorable experiences of your Bhutan tour — the Tiger’s Nest Monastery hike.
Visit Taktshang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger’s Nest, located dramatically on a cliff above the Paro Valley. The excursion involves approximately a 6-hour round-trip walk. Pony services are available at an additional cost.
After completing the excursion, return to Paro for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Paro – Phuentsholing – Hasimara Departure
After an early breakfast, check out and begin your journey from Paro towards Phuentsholing. Travel through the scenic mountain roads via Thimphu and Chukha while enjoying views of Bhutan’s valleys and forests.
Upon reaching Phuentsholing, complete the necessary Bhutan exit formalities. Continue towards India via Jaigaon and proceed to Hasimara.
Your Bhutan tour ends with a drop at the Hasimara railway station or desired point for your onward journey.
