Itinerary (Day Wise)
Begin your Bhutan with Sikkim tour with a scenic drive to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. Complete entry formalities and explore the peaceful border town. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
After breakfast, complete Immigration formalities and drive through beautiful Himalayan roads towards Thimphu while enjoying waterfalls, valleys, and mountain landscapes. Visit monasteries on the way. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast,complete immigration we will begin our sightseeing tour of Thimphu, visiting some of its most famous attractions. Our first stop will be the National Memorial Chorten, followed by the Takin Preserve Centre, where we can see Bhutan’s national animal. We will then explore the National Library and the National Textile Museum to learn more about Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage. Next, we will visit the magnificent Buddha Point, offering panoramic views of the city, and the Painting School, where traditional Bhutanese art is taught. Later, we will visit the impressive Tashichho Dzong and the interactive cultural museum, Simply Bhutan. In the evening, we will enjoy a leisurely stroll through the local market before returning for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, Transfer to Paro for Tigers nest hike. Guru Padmasambhava (referred in Bhutan as the second Buddha), who has introduced Buddhism in Bhutan has landed on the back of a tigress in the 8th century and meditated in the cave where tiger’s nest main Temple perched now. Today, you will do a hike to the most recognised spot in Bhutan. It will be around4.5miles medium level hike with elevation escalation of 900m from Paro Valley. Your guild will do hiking tips and brief you one day prior to the hike. After that we will proceed to sight see places such as: Takshang Monastery. Overnight stay at Paro
After breakfast, explore Paro's cultural treasures with visits to the magnificent Rinpung Dzong, the sacred Kyichu Lhakhang, the historic Drukgyel Dzong, and the National Museum (Ta Dzong). Later, begin your scenic drive to Phuentsholing, marking the end of your memorable Bhutan journey.
Enjoy a scenic drive from Bhutan to Gangtok through tea gardens, valleys, and beautiful Himalayan roads. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Visit Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, and Optional: - Nathula Pass, while enjoying the Himalayan landscapes of East Sikkim. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
