Day 1 – Siliguri/Bagdogra to Phuentsholing | Arrival & Transfer
Approx. Distance: 165 Km | Travel Time: 4 Hrs
Welcome to Bhutan! On arrival at Jaigaon, meet the Etripto tour representative and proceed towards Phuentsholing. Complete the required immigration, registration and biometric formalities before exploring the town.
Phuentsholing is a lively Bhutanese border town known for its local markets and convenient access to Bhutan. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the local market before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Phuentsholing to Thimphu | En-Route Sightseeing
Approx. Distance: 160 Km | Travel Time: 5 Hrs
After breakfast, complete the required Bhutan immigration permit formalities and begin your scenic journey towards Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan.
En route, visit Kharbandi Monastery, followed by stops at Chukha Dam View Point, Gedu View Point and Wankha Waterfall. Enjoy the beautiful Himalayan landscapes, forests, valleys and traditional villages along the route.
On arrival in Thimphu, check in to your hotel. Evening is free to explore the local markets at your own pace.
Day 3 – Thimphu | Full-Day City Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin your Thimphu sightseeing tour covering some of the city's most popular cultural and historical attractions.
Visit National Memorial Chorten, Takin Preserve Centre, National Library, National Textile Museum, Buddha Point and the Painting School. Continue to Tashichho Dzong and Simply Bhutan, where you can experience the country's traditional culture and heritage.

Day 4 – Thimphu to Punakha | Scenic Mountain Drive

After breakfast, drive towards Punakha through the scenic Himalayan landscape. Your journey includes a visit to Dochula Pass, located at approximately 3,088 metres, where you can enjoy panoramic mountain views on clear days.
Visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens before continuing towards Punakha. Explore the magnificent Punakha Dzong, situated at the meeting point of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.
Later, visit the famous Punakha Suspension Bridge and Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility, surrounded by picturesque rice fields and villages.
Day 5 – Punakha to Paro | En-Route Sightseeing

The monastery is dramatically located on a cliff approximately 900 metres above the Paro Valley. The excursion involves an approximately 6-hour round-trip hike, so comfortable walking shoes and suitable clothing are recommended.
Enjoy the spiritual atmosphere and spectacular mountain views before returning to Paro.

Day 7 – Paro to Phuentsholing | Sightseeing & Transfer

Day 8 – Phuentsholing to Siliguri/Bagdogra | Departure
